Yayyy for parts of the body
I see a lot of posts on fb saying we taught our kids this, that and on and on ..
I wasn’t really interested in joining them.
Aadya at 15 months could say ram ram, govinda and Om namah sivayah!
Om namah sivaya is tough .. She heard me twice in kasi and started saying OM amachiya …..
I was happy!! We dint teach her but just chanting as she loved hearing to mantras 🙂
So I dint really care about the normal jargon 🙂
But aadya had a severe cold and suddenly started pointing out mukka to her blocked nose for asking to clear it.
I dutifully obliged for 3-4 days and then realized she learnt on a body part on her own out of sheer necessity;)
Oh she communicates very well and tries to talk like us 🙂
But when I finally realized she was interested in these body parts we jumped into the jargon
I just showed her the body parts her and mine and told her what they were .. She smiled 🙂
We did this some 4 times in a few days and bang
Today she just showed me my parts as I was saying the various parts names …
Wow!! Amazing brains these kids have these days!
I know its easy for them to learn the first 6 years
I also heard their mind is a plain paper and hence easy for them.
Well this just increased my responsibility in moulding Aadya! 🙂
